Social ActivitiesAs stated earlier Lion Members give up a lot of their spare time working on various projects, using a multitude of skills and personal facilities to help raise funds and provide help to others wherever possible. However we do try to have some fun along the way. To that end we hold various social gatherings through out the year, so that we have the opportunity to meet each other socially. We are holding a Charity Ball at the Beachcroft Hotel Felpham on 27th January 2012. Lot of good food and dancing. Contact David Oldland via the website. The Bognor Regis 45th Charter Evening was held at the Gordon Centre on 4th March 2011 Next Charter Evening 46th will be at Bognor Regis Golf Club on Friday 2nd March to the music of CilieJ

The Haggis was piped round the room led by Jon the Piper and addressed. The menu was Haggis, Tatties and Neeps, followed by Chicken with all the trimmings. We had a Highland Flummery for Dessert and then Cheese and biscuits with coffee. After a brief pause, we had Highland Dancing to Corn Rigs with a break for a whisky roll, rolling 50p's at a malt whisky, nearest one wins.! We finished at midnight. A good night was had by all.
