Lions Legacy The Lions Club of Bognor Regis has presented the final instalments of a generous legacy from a Lions member and his wife. In the terms of his will, Lion Ben Benjamin left his entire estate to his wife for her lifetime and upon her death their entire estate was divided between three beneficiaries. They are St Richards Hospital Cancer Day centre unit, Bognor War Memorial Hospital and St Wilfred's Hospice. Previously £400,000.00 had been distributed to each but the final sum bequeathed was £1,373,406.27. This means each beneficiary shared a further £173,406.27. Ben and Barbara Benjamin will be remembered for their generosity to the people of Bognor at these venues by a suitable memorial. The pharmacy at St Richards Day Care Centre already has been named after them. The Lions Club of Bognor Regis are proud to have been associated with the distribution of Ben and Barbara’s generous and selfless will and trust many local people will benefit from their legacy. +++++++++++++++++ Charity Ball 25th February at Beechcroft Hotel Contact David Oldland via the website
